Toilet Paper Roll Snowman
It is January and we have almost put away all of our Christmas decorations, however, I always leave my snowmen up until the end of winter. It just feels right. Please tell me I am not the only one who does this! Well, this also means that the snowmen crafts are coming in hot (well not too hot, don’t want them to melt right? haha, okay so jokes may not be my thing.) However, I had fun with this little one and my girls were super excited to put it up next to the other snowmen. So, grab your toilet paper rolls and lets make a toilet paper roll snowman!
Toilet Paper Roll
Paper plate (or something to paint on)
Felt or ribbon
Sequins or Buttons
Small orange paper triangle
First you will need the paint, brush, plate, and roll. (I also use these amazing paint smocks! My girls love them and they keep them very clean!)
Next your child is going to paint the entire roll white. I let mine dry on the plate standing up.
While that is drying read some snowmen books or look up some good snowmen songs on YouTube!
Also, go ahead and make the top hat. Cut out a circle that is slightly larger than the tp roll and a small strip of paper.
Then wrap the strip around to create a circle and staple or glue it.
Then hot glue onto the flat circle.
Next. get out the felt/ ribbon, sequins/ buttons, googly eyes, small orange paper triangle and black marker.
When the paint is dry. Glue on the ribbon/felt, the eyes, triangle and the buttons. Then create the smile.
Finally, hot glue the top hat on.
Enjoy your little snowmen.
