Make a barn
A barn can be found everywhere and there are so many different kinds. When learning about farm animals it is great for children to learn where they sleep at night ( or even during the day). Get out a toy barn for students to explore or build one with blocks. Also, another great idea is to print out different barns from all over the world. It is amazing how different they all are. However, today we will just be creating our own.
Remember it is not for perfection. You will see my daughters and whew! Although it may look crazy, she had tons of fun and was very proud of herself. Plus, she got in some fine motor skills.
White Cardstock Paper
Farm Animal Stickers
1. Cut the cardstock into a house shape. (If your child is old enough to use scissors have them cut it out.)
2. Sponge Paint the white paper with the red paint
3. Let Dry
4. Glue on popsicle sticks
5. Decorate with stickers of farm animals
Enjoy your accomplishments! Put it up in the fridge. If you have older children have them try to build a barn with just the popsicle sticks. It can get quite tricky.
